- The Konjac or Konnyaku is a perennial plant native to Asia and can be found growing wild at very high altitudes. - Soak the sponge in water for a while and press it few times to expel the excess water before using. Massage gently on the face in circular motions. Rinse the sponge and let it get dry. It can be used on its own or can be used with a face wash.
- Rinse the konjac sponge well with water and gently squeeze the excess water out by pressing the sponge between your palms. Don’t twist, wring, or pull on it. Hang it to dry, or put it on a rack so there is airflow.
- The best place to store it is in room temperature area free of moisture and humidity. Humidity and cramped drawers breed bacteria and encourage mold. It can be kept in fridge as well. With proper care and use, it is recommended to replace konjac sponge every 4-6 weeks.
